NSW opens Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) program for 2026–27

The NSW Government has opened its Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) nomination program, with the first round of invitations starting this week, from 19 October 2026.

NSW has also published its list of eligible skilled occupations for the subclass 190 visa, which is available on the NSW Government website.

NSW has confirmed it will not issue invitations for occupations that are not on its list.

Invitations for the Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491) remain closed, and NSW has not yet announced when they will reopen.
