However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

A registered migration agent MUST keep the records mentioned in clause 6.1 of the Code for a period of 7 years after the date of the last action on the file for the client. Access to your personal information
9.1. You may request details of personal information that we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions, in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Blue Wave Migration PTY LTD will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a hard copy of your Personal Information as well as for the retrieval of hardcopy files from visa applications. If you would like a copy of the information which we hold about you or believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please email us at info@bluewavemigration.com.au.
9.2. We reserve the right to refuse to provide you with information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act.
